Melissa Muir bridges human resources and threat assessment, bringing 25+ years of HR, with 15 years specializing in behavioral threat assessment and management. She is passionate about building healthy organizations through positive people practices. She helps organizations reduce risk, improve communication, and foster cultures where employees thrive.

While with the City of Seattle, Melissa developed an innovative professional development program resulting in a 10-fold increase in internal promotions. Her proven coaching approach helps professionals at every stage in their career build confidence and communication skills that deliver immediate and long-lasting results.

Melissa is a proud ASIS member serving on the ASIS Human Threat Management Committee. She holds an MBA from the University of Washington and a JD from Seattle University School of Law, focusing on employment law and mediation.
