Great article - not sure I'd agree that 1968 was the most traumatic year the US faced having been to Gettysburg, but agree the economic recovery and the many factors impacting the shape (V, W, U, L) and duration (estimates from 1 year to 10 in the same google search) are a challenge.

A key impediment to recovery is going to be the complexity of regulation, policy and emerging best practices.  Your plans are going to have to be flexible and adaptable, with good situational awareness and intelligence.  This can be enhanced by information sharing with others in your region or in your industry.
