Due to their responsibility to safeguard high-risk nuclear material, Sandia National Laboratories has been a leader in developing physical security assessment methods.

This 110-page report gives a good working overview of some of their traditional methods, such as creating Adversary Sequence Diagrams, locating the Critical Detection Point, and making Estimate of Adversary Sequence Interruption (EASI) calculations.

It also introduces new methods developed to use Bayesian statistics in physical security assessments, and compares their utility against the older methods.
