Hello ASIS Professionals,
Just a friendly check-in to see how everyone is doing since the trailing 2/22/22 email from our ARVP. I have not heard anything about the possible consolidation, but I  am formally inviting you to join Chapter #159 if you are interested. ASIS DUES NOW $234.00 USD ASIS International | Advancing Security Worldwide

As the Chapter Chairperson for 2022, I am asking that you strongly consider becoming a member this year.

2021 is now over and we are all happy and look forward to 2022. Many of us know that the pandemic situation is not over, but we want to remain optimistic and start this new year with renewed hope and enthusiasm. The new BoO team has the torch, and we want to again thank the 2021 leadership team. You have provided an excellent template for what is hoped to be a seamless transition.

A COUPLE REMINDERS:

ASIS INTERNATIONAL & CHAPTER DUES

NOTE: New members (1st Timers) who join at the Chapter level after July can get $15.00 REDUCED RATE. This is a great recruitment feature!

You are not a member in good standing until BOTH annual dues are paid!

If you need an address for sending local dues, please email either:

Chapter #159 Chairperson
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
On behalf of Chapter 308 leadership (See attached email from their Chapter Chair), I request ASIS International consolidate Chapter 308, Carolina Pines, into Chapter 159, Greater Fayetteville.
As a point of interest, Chapter 308 was formed from Chapter 159 a few years ago. The size of their organization is small (>15 members) and their activities have been minimal, including that they did not submit a Chapter Questionnaire for 2022.
If the attached request in an email is not enough, please let me know a better format.
As the ARVP supporting Chapters 159 and 308, I support this action which had a quorum decision. As part of the way ahead, Chapter 159 will adjust its plans to better support those members in the greater Moore County area..

I second comments by Darryll and the two chapters will be consolidated.  That doesn't mean the members or potential members in the Carolina Pines (Chapter 308) geographic area will not be served.  We would like to see everyone join Chapter 159/Greater Fayetteville and work together to achieve success and furtherance of the ASIS mission which is the professionalization of the Security industry.  Thanks to Darryll for all he does and the time spent in chairing a great chapter!  I've asked ARVP Stephen Perkins to ensure there is a dedicated focus on providing a return on investment for the members formerly associated with Carolina Pines and I'm sure there will be.
