The root cause of many struggles in security is bad scheduling; the U.S. National Institute fo Occupational Safety and Health produced this 47-page guidebook to give both managers and workers a basic understanding of the trade-offs involved in 24/7 shiftwork and how to make scheduling decisions (either in designing a schedule or accepting a schedule) with full-knowledge of those trade-offs.
