Hello everyone,
My name is Seth Frydberg, and I am excited to join this community of professionals dedicated to corporate security, risk management, and investigations. With over five years of experience in law enforcement,, primarily as a Deputy Sheriff with various agencies in Texas, preceded by several years in private security, I have developed a strong foundation in personal/organizational protection, crisis management, and security operations, and team leadership. I am also currently preparing to take the CPP exam, and seeking mentorship in the Houston area.
Throughout my career, I have thrived in high-pressure environments, where I led emergency response efforts, conducted thorough investigations, and utilized my skills in risk assessment and mitigation. My experience in plain clothes and undercover operations, particularly assisting the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad, has sharpened my investigative skills and heightened my situational awareness.
I have also been a liaison for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, improving relations and training for the Jewish community of Bexar County (San Antonio).
I am particularly passionate about transitioning into the private sector, where I can apply my expertise in security operations and risk assessment to help organizations safeguard their assets and mitigate potential threats. My background in tactical security for high-profile individuals, including diplomats, and developing off-duty law enforcement operations for private entities has equipped me with the necessary skills to manage both high-stakes situations and everyday security challenges.
I am fluent in Spanish and possess advanced interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, which I believe are essential in fostering strong relationships within any organization and community. I am eager to learn from all of you and contribute to discussions on best practices and innovative strategies in our field. With approximately 2,000 hours of relevant documented training, I am well versed in a variety of security and safety topics and skill sets. My main motivation is to make an impact and improve the safety and wellbeing of my stakeholders.
