​There are so many aspects of this story that we, as a planet, are going to get bitten by.

Acts of war in a borderless environment... lack of rules of engagement for cyber war...  ability for non-state actors to take these same attack methods...

Then, at the bottom of it all, a lack of good security risk awareness and planning on the part of businesses that are the foundation of how the planet functions.
