Garrett...its my opinion that for those security service providers wishing to do business with the large professional sport organizations (NFL. MLB, etc.), it is certainly a certification they require.  I know personally that when I was dealing with one of these large sporting organizations, it was one of the first questions asked, if my firm had the SAFETY Act Designation.

To answer your question, is it enough...YES, but as you know, they'll also be assessing the backgrounds and talents on those individuals dedicated to ensuring successful delivery of service.
