Critical infrastructure describes the physical and cyber systems and assets that are so vital to a nation, that their incapacity or destruction would have a debilitating impact on that nations physical, economic, public health, and safety.
Critical infrastructure interdependencies constitute a risk multiplier, which can compound the threat or hazard, affect the resilience and protection performance of critical infrastructure, and lead to cascading and escalating failures.
Our speaker, Anthony Hurley, will discuss critical infrastructure, provide interdependencies examples that have been realized from actual events, and tackle a discussion on what critical infrastructure is the most important.
Mr. Hurley is a consultant with Critical Preparedness, LLC, specializing in Utility Operations, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, and Physical Security. He has worked with critical infrastructure, government, and tribal clients throughout the Continental United States (CONUS), Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
