Subject Matter expert Mike Keenan, LPC, CPP, CFI, provided valuable information regarding retail and loss prevention strategies and best practices. This is the first in a series of webinars by the 2022 ASIS Crime Prevention community. All focusing on the most relevant crime prevention topics.

Mike Keenan, LPC, CPP, CFI, has had a long and successful career in retail and loss prevention that span almost 40 years. His work experience includes 16 years with Macy's where he started as a loss prevention manager and worked his way up to the Vice President of Loss Prevention at Macy's West. He then held similar loss prevention leadership positions with Ross Stores, Longs Drugs, Mervyns, and GAP. He also served on the Retail Federation Loss Prevention Advisory Council for many years and was the Chairperson in 2001 and 2002. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Loss Prevention Foundation. IN addition, he was the President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay for three years.

Mike started his career with the Federal Bureau of Investigations based in San Francisco, and has a Criminal Justice degree from the California State University, Sacramento.
