The Concentric model was created through decades of experience.
Dr. Robert D. Achenbach is presently the Chief Security Officer at the First National Bank of Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, where he has served for the last 15 years. Robert is a top-performing and seasoned operational leader with a total of 25+ years of accomplished experience in mitigating risk and enhancing program development within government and private sector capacities. He has developed an expertise in directing sound consultation to improve security measures, systems, and strategies in the compliant protection of equipment, information, and personnel. Dr. Achenbach received his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership degree in 2019 from Northcentral University in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Prior to his Ed.D., Robert received a Master of Science in Security Management from Bellevue University in 2006, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Bellevue in 2004. Dr. Achenbach holds a Professional Certificate in Forensic Investigation from Iowa Western Community College and is recognized by the AntiTerrorism Accreditation Board as a Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CMAS). He currently serves ASIS International as Council Member of the Professional Development Council.
Deb Andersen is presently the Business Development Manager for Security at Parallel Technologies in Omaha, Nebraska. Deb is an energetic and talented professional with over 15 years’ experience in physical security including setting up a global manufacturing company’s physical security and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program from the ground up. She has served as Physical Security SME and conducted third party vendor assessments for a global bank. As a Security Account Manager for a local security integrator, Deb worked with customers to implement IP Video, Access Control and Burglary Alarm solutions for their organizations. Deb earned an MA in Management with a leadership emphasis from Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, in 2010, and a BA in Communications/Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1991. Deb holds a Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification from ASIS International and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2.
