The Cincinnati Chapter of ASIS International and Ohio Crime Prevention Association presents Conducting an Effective Security Survey and Risk Assessment
Join professionals from local, state, and federal law enforcement, contract and private security, CPTED practitioners, School Resource Officers, threat assessment consultants, crime prevention officers to discuss the many strategies for an exclusive course on security assessments.
This comprehensive training will cover a range of topics including a facility tour, stakeholder interviews, an overview of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), safety and security checklists, risk understanding, security in layers, guidelines and standards, and specific venue needs.
This two-day course includes a team-based practical exercise, a stakeholder interview, a security assessment of GE Aerospace, and a team presentation.
Attendees will also receive valuable resources such as a copy of "The Science and Art of Security Risk Assessment" by Dr. Glen Kitteringham, M.Sc, CPP, published by the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), a thumb drive of safety and security assessment resources, and a one-year membership with the Ohio Crime Prevention Association.
