  • “Insider Threat Considerations” and “Building a Site Security Plan” Tip Sheet Briefings

    When: February, 17, 2026 - NOON-1pm (ET)

    Please join our Pharma Security Community for a briefing on two new Tip Sheets.  Authors for “Insider Threat Security Considerations” and Building a Site Security Plan” Tip Sheets, both members of our Community, will provide an overview of these topics with a Q&A to follow.

    Matthew Brightbill, CCSP, is an experienced supply chain executive with a demonstrated history of working and having knowledge in all Loss Prevention disciplines in the retail, distribution, fulfillment (e-commerce), inbound and outbound LTL areas of worldwide logistics. He’s created best practices, processes and procedures in the cargo world. Matthew, in his various career assignments, has traveled extensively worldwide, and is skilled in corporate investigations.

    Brian Ford, CBCP, is a seasoned security professional with over 15 years experience leading teams in the security field. He is also a combat veteran having served as an Army officer domestically, as well as in Europe, Asia and the Middle East . Brian’s roles in pharmaceutical security have provided him with unique experiences in site expansion, security technologies, regulatory compliance and program development.   • December Pharma Security Community Meeting

    Please join us for the final Pharma Security Community Meeting of the year. Our topic will be "Navigating the intersection of Risk, Resilience, and Security". Enhance your understanding of the interconnected dynamics of risk, security, and resilience and learn how security professionals can effectively safeguard and develop a more resilient organization.

    We will also conduct a brief year in review to understand what worked well and how we can improve our community engagement and content for 2026.

    Speaker Bio: Todd Sowinski is a seasoned risk and security professional with more than 25 years of experience leading initiatives across organizational resilience, security operations, and risk management. He currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk, Resilience, and Security at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., where he is recognized for building and advancing global infrastructure that strengthens security, ensures business continuity, mitigates risk, and enhances crisis management capabilities.

    Throughout his career, Todd has held leadership roles spanning the military, regulatory affairs, civil support operations, and corporate strategy—each shaping his holistic approach to safeguarding organizational integrity and driving sustainable growth. U.S. Army veteran, he brings a mission-oriented mindset to the private sector, emphasizing adaptability, preparedness, and collaboration. He holds an MBA in Global Executive Leadership and professional certifications as both a Chief Risk Officer and Business Continuity Professional.

  • October Pharma Security Community Meeting - “Security Investigations Update”

    When: October 21, 2025 from Noon-1PM (ET)

    Please join the Pharma Security Community for a discussion on “Security Investigations Update” .  Panel experts from our ASIS Investigations Community will discuss their practical experience with conducting security investigations.

    Scot Walker is a seasoned Investigations and Corporate Security Leader with over two decades of federal law enforcement and military service, including roles as a Special Agent and Task Force Officer. He has led corporate investigations for global companies specializing in internal misconduct, fraud, workplace violence, and protective intelligence. Scot has built investigation programs, safeguarded executives on high-risk international travel, and advised technology firms on fraud prevention and physical security strategies.

    Scot holds a Master’s in Organizational Management and a Bachelor’s in Strategic Security, alongside certifications as a Professional Certified Investigator (ASIS International), Licensed Arizona Private Investigator, and multiple specialized credentials in cyber and economic crime.

    Pete Bernritter, CPP, is a 20+ year ASIS Member currently serving as a Director on the Profession Standards Board and a Steering Committee Member for the Sensitive Information Protection Community.  Previously, he has served on both the Investigations and Executive Protection Council’s (pre-Communities) and was a Technical Committee Member for the Workplace Violence / Active Assailant released in 2020 as well as for the Investigations Standard release in June of this year.  Outside of ASIS, he is currently the Director of License Compliance Investigations for the Americas at Dassault Systemes and previously held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in both public sector law enforcement and private sector multi-national corporate security environments.
