“Bridging Silos: Warm Seats when Situations Get Hot”

The shift from a security-focused operations center to a scalable, multi-domain platform is as much a people problem as it is a design problem.

Senior leaders across industries are rethinking how their global operations centers can surge the right stakeholders — legal, communications, supply chain, HR, finance, security, facilities, EHS, and more — around any problem set, without requiring all of them in the room on a quiet Tuesday.

The blueprint for making that work already exists in the U.S. diplomatic and interagency world, where Emergency Action Committees, forward-deployed operations centers, and national-level task forces have long brought together professionals from entirely different domains — on short notice, under pressure — and made it function.
