From Resilience to Readiness: Designing Systems That Support the Human Behind the Analyst

When:  May 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)

This session explores the human and operational realities of frontline security operators. Professionals in these roles are routinely exposed to threatening scenarios, traumatic material, high information volume, and continuous cognitive demands that can significantly impact wellness, decision-making, and long-term performance. While organizations often focus on resilience at the individual level, many of the challenges facing analysts, GSOC operators, and threat management teams stem from system design issues, including volume overload, fragmented workflows, ambiguity, and constant exposure to high-risk content.

By combining behavioral science, organizational psychology, and operational design perspectives, this session examines how leaders can better support the people behind the mission. Attendees will gain practical strategies for reducing cognitive overload, improving decision environments, strengthening team resilience, and building sustainable threat management operations that support both human performance and organizational effectiveness.
