Trends in Travel Risk Management: New TRM Qualifications

When:  Feb 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (ET)

This fireside chat brings together two leading voices in Travel Risk Management for a candid look at where organisations really are today. @Stan Ayscue, Chief Commercial Officer, Compass Point Assist, will interview @Bex Deadman, co‑founder of the Travel Risk Academy, about fresh findings from their work with Level 4 and 5 ATHE‑accredited qualifications in Travel Risk Management delivered to students around the world. Drawing on anonymised cohort data and practitioner discussions, they are about to launch a global benchmark report on the current state of TRM programmes—covering maturity levels, job roles, team structures, responsibilities, salaries and the technology stacks organisations actually rely on in practice.

Designed to help organisations understand what “good” really looks like and the practical steps needed to get there, this session will share early insights before the report is published next month. As close friends of the ASIS TRM Committee, Bex and Stan have agreed to offer our members and guests an exclusive preview of key findings, including how most programmes benchmark against ISO 31030, where common pain points lie, and what high‑performing organisations are doing differently. Attendees will leave with a clear sense of how their own programmes compare and concrete ideas to shape their TRM roadmap for the next 12–24 months.

The live program is open to the public; however, the recording and any related resources will only be accessible to ASIS members. 1 CPE
