Investigations and the Threat Assessment Process - Two Part Series

Join ASIS Human Threat Management Community for this two-part series being hosted Wednesday, 8 July and continuing Wednesday, 15 July both at 11am ET.

To conduct an effective behavioral threat assessment and manage persons of concern, members of Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management Teams must have investigative skills and should not think of these as proprietary skills of police alone. Police and other investigators must understand that criminal investigations, and workplace violence investigations have differences from investigations related to the threat assessment process.

The goals of each investigation are different but can run concurrently and those working threat assessment cases, criminal threat cases, and code or policy violation cases will see the value of this webinar training.
