This community aims to serve as a forum to identify best practices and emerging trends in educational institution security. Provides professional development opportunities for K-12 and higher education administrators and security personnel that promote a safe and secure educational environment in which students, faculty, and staff can excel. This is a Subject Area Community which is led by a volunteer Steering Committee – you’ll see them regularly hosting virtual events, sharing resources, and leading online discussions within ASIS Connects.

  • Q1 School Safety and Security Community Meeting

    Please join us in our first quarter community meeting to discuss objectives for the year.

    ASIS Liaison, Jessica Pagel, ASIS

    Proposed agenda is as follows -

    • Review business plan and objectives   
    • Solicit ideas for presentations 
    • Seek volunteers for sub-committees
    • Answer the question - "What would you like to see out of this community?"

    We are seeking to engage members more frequently. Please attend with comments, suggestions, and even criticism, as we work to elevate this community into a valued resource for our membership.
