This is an open community for all members interested in security issues related to hospitality, entertainment, and tourism security. This community aims to champion the continuous improvement of security and safety through increased professionalism, constant improvement in training programs, certifications, and establishment of best practices for the discipline. This community works with soft targets, including hotels, vacation and time share rentals, congregate residential centers, amusement parks and open-air venues, and tourism officials for positive effect on guests, employees, and assets. This is a Subject Area Community which is led by a volunteer Steering Committee – you’ll see them regularly hosting virtual events, sharing resources, and leading online discussions within ASIS Connects.
