Security Applied Science Ad Hoc Council

The Council contributes to the advancement of security globally by engaging with security professionals who are end-users, engineers, vendors, testers, and subject matter experts in the field of security technology applied sciences. The Security Applied Sciences Ad Hoc Council (SASC) will fulfill its mission through collaboration with all such industry leaders in government, private industry, and non-profit organizations to influence the design, development, evaluation, testing, and application of security technology, while identifying vulnerabilities, design flaws, application concerns, and other technology-based challenges.


  • Security Applied Science Ad Hoc Council

    The Security Applied Sciences Council is established to assist the Society in achieving its goals by becoming the focal point for  Information relative to new technologies and application of new technologies.

    The Council will assist the Society in achieving its Vision and Mission by:

    • Providing high quality training and educational opportunities,
    • Fulfilling the needs of members and potential members,
    • Providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas,
    • Assisting in the promulgation of guidelines, standards and ethic conduct,
    • Promoting the Society to key audiences,
    • Pursuing and maintaining strategic alliances with relevant organizations,
    • Enhancing the effectiveness of Society volunteer leadership and assisting in the continued strength of the Society.
