Please join us for our April School Safety and Security Community meeting, which will take place on Thursday, April 15, 2021, starting at 11:00AM Eastern Time. We will continue our series of issues related to the pandemic this month. Our speaker will be Rick Shaw, founder of Awareity. Rick will speak on how violence, stressors, suicides, fears, unrest, chaos, COVID confusion, liabilities, and numerous other incidents and tragedies are increasing in schools and their communities. He will offer tips on how school leaders can make their schools safer for everyone.
Rick will discuss lessons learned from incidents and tragedies for the last 20+ years have exposed why more incidents and tragedies were not prevented. This overview will share lessons learned that expose flaws, gaps, and silos that are common and how school leaders can take immediate actions to make schools safer.
