Study Time Recommendation:
To succeed in the CPP exam, ASIS recommends 8–10 hours of study per week over the 3–4 months leading up to the exam. This program aligns with that guidance, providing structure, accountability, and support throughout.

- Start Date: September 2025
- Cost: $250.00
- Deadline: To receive included study materials, participants must register before the program start date. Late registrations (after launch) are welcome but will require participants to purchase their own materials and catch up independently.
CPP Eligibility Requirements
To sit for the CPP exam, candidates must meet ASIS eligibility requirements:
- 9 years of security work experience, including 3 years in responsible charge of a security function OR
- A bachelor’s degree or higher and 7 years of security work experience, with 3 years in responsible charge
- Valid, government-issued ID
- Agree to abide by the ASIS Code of Conduct
- It is not required to be an ASIS member to take the exam, but membership is required to access discounted pricing on study materials and exam fees.
