🔷 Southern Connecticut ASIS International – Member Spotlight 🔷

As new leadership begins to take shape at the Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASIS International, we’re excited to reconnect with our members and begin building the Next Chapter in our Chapter—together.

While we're just getting started, one thing is clear: the strength of our chapter lies in the people who make up our professional community. That’s why we’re launching a series of Member Spotlights to recognize individuals who bring experience, passion, and potential to the table.

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Adam Raffone, whose professional background and commitment to the field reflect the kind of leadership and collaboration we hope to cultivate across the chapter.

🎯 Current Role: Head of Security Training and Development at Yale University Library

🧠 Focus Areas: Security and safety training program development, Fire and emergency response planning, Policy development and compliance management, Staff supervision and leadership, Interdepartmental collaboration on public safety initiatives.

Additional Professional Activities: Cultural Properties Steering Committee (2024–current), Vice Chair of Library Subcommittee.

💬 Why We’re Spotlighting Adam: Adam brings a robust background in security management, with a proven track record of developing effective training programs and fostering interdepartmental collaboration. His leadership and commitment to advancing safety and compliance standards contribute significantly to the professional community.

As we continue to re-engage and grow, we invite all members to get involved—whether by sharing knowledge, offering ideas, or simply connecting with fellow professionals.

📣 Interested in contributing to the future of the chapter? We’d love to hear from you.
