🔷 Southern Connecticut ASIS International – Member Spotlight 🔷
With new leadership in place at the Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASIS International, we’re energized to reconnect with our members and work together to shape the future of our chapter.
One thing is certain: the strength of our chapter comes from the professionals who make up our community. That’s why we’re continuing our Member Spotlight series to recognize individuals who bring expertise, passion, and potential to our organization.
This week, we’re proud to spotlight Bernadette Alway, whose professional background and commitment reflect the kind of leadership and collaboration we hope to cultivate across the chapter.
🎯 Current Role: Security Director for International SOS, a global leader in delivery of medical and travel safety solutions. Clients are F100 and F500 companies, NGOs, Government agencies, TriCare, and Universities.
🧠 Focus Areas: Serves as a senior security advisor to International SOS clients, supporting risk mitigation strategies, crisis response planning, threat assessment, and business continuity efforts. Coordinates medical and security preparedness support through the company’s global assistance centers.
💬 Why We’re Spotlighting Bernadette: Bernadette’s career reflects the power of strong public-private partnerships. With more than two decades at the FBI and now serving as Security Director for the U.S. Northeast at International SOS, she brings deep expertise in crisis management, threat mitigation, and collaborative security leadership—exactly the kind of experience shaping the future of our profession.
As we continue to re-engage and grow, we encourage all members to get involved—whether by sharing knowledge, contributing ideas, or simply connecting with fellow professionals.
