    Community Members,

    Please join the ASIS Operational Intelligence Community’s next Open Call on Thursday, 23 May 2024, from 1400-1500 EDT.  This session is entitled “Intelligence Roundtable: Managing an Intelligence Team in the Tech Sector.” 

    Join a roundtable conversation with intelligence managers working within the tech sector, discussing best practice, and lessons learned. The discussion will include guidance for individuals seeking to manage a corporate intelligence team someday, advice for current managers, and recommendations for security leaders on what to look for when hiring for this position. Time will be available for audience questions at the end.

    Sean Rausch (Sr. Intelligence Manager, Fortune 500 Fintech Firm)

    Sean Rausch is currently based in New York as a Senior Manager for Intelligence Operations, embedded at a Fortune 500 fintech firm by Sibylline. His role includes strategic oversight and management of a large, embedded intelligence function. He has experience developing teams engaged in strategic and tactical analysis, incident management, and threat investigations. Prior to this role, Sean was a Strategic Intelligence Manager, leading a team of 4 regional Strategic Analysts with global coverage. He started his career with Sibylline as an EMEA Analyst, based in Dublin, Ireland. Sean has a past history in security operations management, having worked in a travel risk and maritime security operations consultancy.

    Faraz Nasir (EMEA Intelligence Manager, Google)

    Faraz Nasir is the EMEA Intelligence Manager at Google, based in London. Faraz is responsible for ensuring that stakeholders and decision makers across the business are informed on geopolitical, security and strategic market risks. Faraz has more than twelve years of experience in the risk and intelligence sector managing teams, projects, and products across the world, both in-house and as a vendor. Prior to joining Google, he was Head of Intelligence at G4S Risk Management. He has spent several years living in Beijing and Zurich, and holds an MA in International Relations and the ASIS CPP certification.

    Liz Lauzon (Global VSOC Team Manager)

    Over the past 10 years, Liz cultivated her LATAM regional expertise working at the Organization of American States (OAS), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and at Southern Pulse conducting LATAM security focused investigative & intelligence projects. Liz honed her security intelligence skills while at Meta, where she transitioned from a Senior LATAM Analyst to an Intelligence Team Lead. Now with Sibylline, Liz oversees an embedded global SOC - balancing analyst growth with client intelligence needs.
