He is the Chair of the ASIS International Extremism & Political Instability Community (EPIC) Sterring Committee and member of the Human Threat Management Community Steering Committee. Steve is a Certified Threat Manager (CTM) with the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and a Certified Master Trainer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security National Threat Evaluation and Reporting (NTER) program, as well a cleared mental health partner to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and instructor in the FBI Community Anti-Threats Officer (CATO) program.
