Welcome to the newly established Operational Intelligence Community.
This community of practice is open to all ASIS members interested in security issues related to threat intelligence sharing and analysis in the risk management domain!
Our hope is to foster dialogue and collaboration by sharing best practice on various approaches to threat information collection and analysis, as it relates to managing risk in the enterprise.
We encourage members from all backgrounds and geographic locations to get involved and share their experiences.
The more diverse our exchange, the more diverse our thinking, the better problem solvers we become.
As we find our footing in this new community, we will hold bi-monthly open calls with community members and all other ASIS members, who wish to join.
Calls will be based on a theme, with a short presentation by a speaker or panel of speakers. From there, we will open the call for Q&A and dialogue on the topic with members. We want to hear from you, as well as the invited speaker.
We have also partnered with the Extremism and Political Instability Community, given the synergies between our two thematic areas.
We will publish their open calls on our connects page and hope you will join in on those call too.
Our first call will be in March of 2023. We will announce the date and time soon.
The March call will include an introduction of the Steering Committee and discussion with you. We want to hear your thoughts on and expectations of this new community.
We look forward to getting to know you and building this community together.
