Ellie Hughes is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and inclusivity in the workplace. As the Lead of the ASIS Ottawa Women in Security Committee, she works to uplift women in their roles and create spaces where everyone can thrive. Ellie’s career began with 15 impactful years as a UK police officer, where she developed skills in communication, problem-solving, and community building. She transitioned to the corporate world in 2010, discovering the power of empathy and active listening to create meaningful solutions, and later embraced a new chapter in Canada, where she leads Sales for a Securitas in Eastern Canada.
Ellie's inspiring journey of career shifts, international relocation, and personal growth reflects her resilience and determination. Her work and leadership continue to create opportunities for others to be heard, overcome challenges, and unlock their potential. Sarah Jingco has been in the security industry for over 23 years. She is a transformative HR executive and current Vice President of Human Resources at Securitas Security Services USA, where she leads strategy for over 15,000 employees across the Pacific Region. She has shaped high-performing teams, revitalized workplace cultures, and driven measurable business results within one of the world’s largest security organizations.
