Kevin Davis has over 20 years’ experience in the security industry, most of which has been in the educational setting. Kevin received a B.A. from Harding University in May 2008. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law in May 2013.
Kevin is a member of ASIS International, where he earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation in 2007. He currently serves as the 1st Vice Chairman for the ASIS International School Safety and Security Council. Kevin is a member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). He is also a current board member and past president of the Arkansas Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (AACLEA). Kevin is a member of the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police. He is also a member of the National Rifle Association.
Kevin is a certified NRA Law Enforcement Handgun, Shotgun, and Patrol Rifle Instructor. He is a FEMA Law Enforcement Response to Active Shooter Instructor. He is a Training Administrator for PSO, CSO, and CSSO courses, certified through the Arkansas State Police. He has been trained as a CPR, Medical First Responder, and Defensive Tactics Instructor. Kevin is also an NRA certified Range Safety Officer.
Kevin had an article published in the September issue of Security Management magazine titled: “Private School, Public Protection.” Kevin has been a guest speaker on emergency management for AACLEA and school safety for the Arkansas Chapter of InfraGard. Kevin has also presented on school safety and security at the ASIS International Annual Seminar 2016 in Orlando, Florida. Kevin was a guest speaker on school safety for the Arkansas Association of Facility Administrators.
