As a security consultant, David is focused on finding the appropriate physical security solutions for a wide range of clients. Security design is not a cookie cutter process, and has to be tailored to each individual client with an effort to attain the highest in security industry standards. David has experience designing such systems for retailers, medical centers, cultural and religious locations, universities and other education sites. With his degree in Homeland Security & Emergency Management, received with the highest honors, David is familiar with risk and vulnerability assessments, DHS and other agency standards knowledge, emergency management development, procedures and protocols, and a broad view of both physical and operational securities.
David also has a Master of Science degree in Administration of Justice & Security, which lends itself well to leadership in both the criminal justice and security realms.
David also has a Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification through ASIS International.The Physical Security Professional (PSP)® credential provides demonstrated knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures. Those who earn the PSP are ASIS board certified in physical security.
David also has a CPP through ASIS International. The Certified Protection Professional (CPP)® credential provides demonstrable proof of knowledge and management skills in seven key domains of security. Those who earn the CPP are ASIS board-certified in security management.
