I am an advocate of an inclusive and collaborative approach to security and risk mitigation, considering people, process and technology from the perspective of all security disciplines.
In January 2017 I joined pladis Global, a multinational food snacking company as the global asset, risk & security manager, reporting direct to the global head of risk, security & crisis management.
I am currently leading the development of our strategy, policy and procedures for asset risk and security considering people, locations, materials, investments and products, across the full spectrum of our global manufacturing estate.
A board Certified Protection Professional (CPP), I am currently two full years into a BA (hons) in global business management. Always seeking to develop my skills, I certified as a Physical Security Professional (PSP) in 2017 and MSP (Managing Successful Programs) foundation in 2018.
With over a decade of experience in management, I am an established leader in my field. I am a generalist with an interest in business strategy, as such, I have cultivated a breadth and depth of knowledge across various security sub-disciplines, namely: business continuity management, security threat & risk assessment, crisis & incident management, global business travel safety & security and physical security program design.
I am currently a council member with the ASIS International food defense and agriculture security council and I was a founding member of the ASIS UK young professional’s leadership committee (2016-2018).
My outlook is to ensure that I contribute to my organization ensuring my efforts and activities demonstrate clear business value. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my profession and I will continue to volunteer for noteworthy projects and initiatives that develop the international security industry in the eyes of global business.
