Since 2011, James Summers has served the Kellogg Company as Director of Global Security based at the global headquarters in Battle Creek, MI. In this role, he is responsible for security programs in the U.S., Canada and part of Mexico, which include brand protection, consumer data protection, food defense plans, supply chain security, investigations and project management. Additionally, he is involved in executive protection, travel security, coupon fraud prevention, while sitting on the supply chain leadership and the regional crisis management teams.
James’ current industry involvement includes Chair of the ASIS International Food Defense and Agriculture Security Council and has been member of the Council since 2008. The intent of the Council is to Proactively identify food defense and agriculture security issues and to educate and provide expertise to enhance the protection of the global supply chain from source to consumption”.
