Security and Safety Things GmbH

Security & Safety Things operates an open Application Store with a wide range of AI-enabled video analytics apps. These can be flexibly installed on supported smart cameras or used also on the video imagery of existing security cameras. The apps provide Banking Managers and Branch Operators with actionable customer insights, from understanding visitors’ behavior or footfall patterns to monitoring occupancy, the adherence to health guidelines or the presentation of goods in the communal area. There is also a wide range of apps that increase safety for customers and staff alike, such as automatic detection of knifes or guns, spills, or smoke and fire, as well as the ability to trigger respective alerts in real time . By running multiple apps on the same device, Branch Operators can gain operational intelligence, increase safety and improve customer experience in the bank all at the same time.

New product - Office Manager
As many banks and financial institutions begin to plan their return to the office, most are not planning a return to pre-Covid norms.  The pandemic has shown that offices are not the only place that work can be conducted efficiently.  The office will remain a critical asset to most organizations, but what the office looks like, and how many people work there all week, will likely change forever.  As financial institutions return to the office with new work policies, one of the most important questions for these companies is going to be “Is our office being efficiently utilized?”  Many will want to know answers to questions like:

  • How many people are using the office on a regular basis?
  • What is the current occupancy of the office?
  • Who, and how many people, need a permanent desk?
  • Should we be utilizing hoteling and/or hot desks?
  • What areas of the office are being used most frequently?
  • What is the overall utilization of our office?
Genetec Office Manager will be able to answer these questions, and additional questions, by utilizing the data out of your access control system!  No need to procure a new, siloed system to answer these questions.  Put your existing security system to work to help your organization transition to the workplace of the future!
