Behavior Detection and Recognition? (ASIS Webinar)

When:  Apr 28, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (ET)

The objective of this presentation is to provide security practitioners with the skills to detect individuals who may have hostile intent in any environment. This is done by observing for pre determined behaviors in the immediate environment, and then engaging the individual in a non-invasive verbal engagement. The engagement is designed to elicit open-ended responses that would aide in resolving the human alarm real time.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of intentional observation skills.
  • Identify and apply the elements of an environmental baseline.
  • Understand behavior indicators where elements of stress, fear, or deception are displayed.
