gaming and hospitality industry. Beginning with a Keynote speaker, Mike Howard
who has developed “Ronin Leadership” education, written multiple books like
“The Art of Ronin Leadership” on the subject that contribute to his podcast
sessions as well as two action thriller novels, “Full Circle” and “Blood Promise” .
Following the keynote session will be Richard Marcus a world renown for his
casino capers and his book “American Roulette” on How he Turned the Odds
Upside Down “My Wild Twenty-Five-Year Ride Ripping Off the World's Casinos”.
On the theme of professional development there will be a panel discussion
moderated by the ASIS Las Vegas Chapter Chair, Chris Petko, MAAL, CPP on the
benefits of ASIS Certifications – CPP – PSP – PCI” with a special guest who earned

gain insights into the 2017 Strip Shooting followed by a session on the private
sector responsibilities to Active Shooter incidents. That as a nation we are
continually confronted with active and mass shootings. This is not a new problem,
but an ongoing problem that doesn’t seem to go away. That said, as a private
sector business what are our responsibilities to our employees, guests, and in
supporting the first responder’s response to these tragic and devastating attacks.
There will also be a workplace violence session that should add to the
investigative processes used to resolve and contribute to recognizing behaviors
involved in the workplace. There will also be a tour of the surveillance operations
and a buffet style luncheon with a limited number of vendor tabletop exhibits.
Each session will be a hour of education and CEU attendance will be recorded ay
each session with a sign-in sheet for those seeking CEU credit(s).
