​To establish, develop, and promote excellence in the transition of those changing careers, with special concentration on active military and law enforcement to the security profession.


  • Transitions Ad Hoc Council

    The Transition Council is established to assist the Society in achieving its goals by becoming the focal point for Society activities within all aspects of  the transition of personnel to the security profession.

    The Council will assist the Society in achieving its Vision and Mission by:

    • Providing high-quality training and educational opportunities,
    • Fulfilling the needs of members and potential members,
    • Providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas,
    • Assisting in the promulgation of guidelines, standards and ethics conduct,
    • Promoting the Society to key audiences,
    • Pursuing and maintain strategic alliances with relevant organizations, and
    • Enhancing the effectiveness of Society volunteer leadership and assisting in the continued strength of the Society.
