Identifies best practices and emerging trends in educational institution security. Provides professional development opportunities for K-12 and higher education administrators and security personnel that promote a safe and secure educational environment in which students, faculty, and staff can excel.

Note: Councils offer an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, while enhancing your reputation and professional credentials. Being a council member is not an honorary title; it is a working position that requires personal commitment from both members and their employers. Volunteers are selected from ASIS members in good standing who know their company will support active involvement, which includes the ability to participate in meetings throughout the year.
